Student Writer Instructions:
Today, you will be writing a scene about yourself as you stumble across “Elives’ Magic Supplies”. You will find a magical object that is meant only for you and will change your life in dramatic ways. Remember Jeremy’s discovery at the end of Chapter 1 and the beginning of Chapter 2.
Step #1: Click the buttons below for ideas to create your magical object. There are two buttons. One button will give you a possessive noun, and the other will give you ideas for objects to find.
Step #2: Once you have chosen your magical object, use your creative brain to create details and descriptions that use unusual and interesting words to create images in your audience’s mind. Use the graphic organizer your teacher will give you to organize your scene before writing it.
Step #3: Keep in mind you need to not only create the scene where you find the magical item, but you also need to create the “How To” instructions for your magical object. |
