Summertime-inspired Memoirs

using various interpretations of Gershwin's Summertime to teach mood or tone in narrative writing

What season brings out the best moods in you? Maybe summer, because you're out of school?

For this writing assignment, you will be writing about a true summertime memory from your own past. In telling your reader about the memory, you will also show him/her what emotions you felt, and you will attmept to make him/her feel the same emotions with your words.
