Writer Instructions:
Mrs. Pecora's third grade students were a little worried about their teacher's patience. It seemed to be missing. They wanted it back.
Newspapers have a section in them where people pay to post Lost & Found Ads. Even though no one really places Lost & Found Ads for someone's patience, Mrs. Pecora's student writers composed the advertisement at right to see if the y could help get their teacher's patience back!
Although they never placed their ad in an actual newspaper, we hear their teacher's patience returned.
What interesting and unusual items might you write a Lost & Found Ad for? Could you devote a page in your journal or writer's notebook to write several unusual Lost & Found Ads this year?
