Writer Instructions:

If something happens, then something else must happen as a result.  This is called cause and effect.  You will create an imaginary (almost nonsensical)  cause and effect relationship by clicking on the two buttons below.  Write an explanation that creatively elaborates on the relationship you are about to be given. Be creative!

When writing about cause and effect, there are some excellent transition words you might consider using as you move through your piece of writing. Here are some excellent transition words and phrases to consider using: as a consequence, as a result, consequently, hence, then, therefore, thus.
